The Books Have Arrived!

I was delighted to be handed a box of books by a mail carrier this afternoon. I got to see my work in print, and after months of worrying about the colouring, I’m happy to see it looks exactly as it did when I had it on my screen. I’m not much of a colourist, so I was very paranoid about how it would look in print.

I will have copies available for purchase on my website at some point. I just need to figure out how much to price them at and look into shipping options. I’ll post a link when they’re ready. I’m thinking of using Big Cartel, so they’ll eventually show up at https://shop.fictionistmedia.com when they are ready to be sold.

USPS tried their best to damage every copy, but I have one damaged book. The cover and a few pages are bent. Luckily, the publisher has offered to replace it, so rather than trashing that copy, I may offer the damaged copy to someone as part of a give away or a “heavily discounted” edition.

Anymore Comics?

I was content with my work just being online, but after seeing it in print, I’m feeling inspired to see more work printed. It likely won’t be publishing the JitteryRobot sketchbook comics as physical media anytime soon, but I’m thinking about printing a couple 22 page comics with a couple of my preexisting scripts.

What’s that about Jittery Robot?

Jittery Robot will still be free to read here and at JitteryRobot.com, but you can read it a week early by subscribing or by joining my Patreon. After a week has passed, I will post free versions. That being said, paid subscribers can see today’s Sketchbook Comic below!

Morning Coffee Comics is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber.
