I have fallen out of practice with my painting. I’ve never been comfortable working with watercolours. They felt so unforgiving when it came to mistakes, and I never really learned how to use them properly.

So, I bought myself a book called Thinking In Watercolor by Jessie Kanelos Weiner. It has a brief overview of tools, proper techniques and 30 days worth of painting exercises. So far I have only done one exercise, based off a prompt my wife wrote in my sketchbook:
Ghosts doing the dishes while wearing cute aprons with lots of bubbles.
I may try this one again at a larger scale after I’ve done the full 30 exercises. So stay tuned while I post my progress.
